UK Connect appoints Ross Spence as Head of Technical Operations as rapid growth continues

UK Connect, one of the UK’s fastest-growing technology partners to the construction and defence industries, has appointed Ross Spence as its Head of Technical Operations, to lead its Field Service, Network Operations and Service Delivery teams.
Established as a startup almost 14 years ago, UK Connect has grown to become the UK’s leading provider of advanced connectivity solutions to the construction and defence industries. Its technology underpins national infrastructure and is used by some of the biggest organisations in the country, including the Ministry of Defence, Vistry Group, Cala Homes and Taylor Wimpey.

As the business grows there is increasing demand for UK Connect’s expertise and solutions. In his new role, Ross will be responsible for working closely with UK Connect’s growing customer base to design, deploy and maintain their connectivity, IoT networks and managed IT solutions.

Having first joined UK Connect as a Pre-Sales Network Engineer in 2023, Ross spent 12-months offering technical support to the commercial team before being promoted to Solutions Manager, where he was responsible for the team designing and deploying custom networks from concept to implementation.
