UK Connect Defence is launched today, to build on UK Connect’s thirteen years of experience in designing, integrating, deploying and supporting resilient communications and connectivity solutions across demanding remote environments for the UK construction industry and other critical infrastructure agencies.
This announcement coincides with the DVD event taking place at Millbrook, 16-17 Sep 26.
Over recent years, UK Connect has been increasingly involved in the successful delivery of a number of fast-paced connectivity solutions to meet defence sector requirements that some traditional providers were less able to meet. Spearheaded by PJ Farr, a forces veteran and original business founder, the company’s roots combine a passion to support the military with clear demand signals leading to the establishment of a sector-specific business and brand.
Combining the integration of appropriate commercial, proprietary and specialist technologies with in-house developed and manufactured specialist products, the new business will deliver the required capability to meet the needs of the military, or other agencies, operating in austere environments globally.

By appointment only, interested parties can be given a limited pre-launch demonstration of the new, fully militarised connectivity solution that has been specifically engineered for the defence and security sector and will be officially launched on 14th October 2026 at Kachette, Shoreditch, London.
