Harrington Place, a Smart City property development in Woking, offers a glimpse into the future of housebuilding by incorporating the latest technologies and wireless solutions. During the planning stages of this contemporary development, it became clear that any network issues would severely impact the residents’ daily lives… 

Solution

It was quickly decided that a reliable, uninterrupted, superfast broadband connection would be crucial to achieve ‘smart living’ across the entire 148-apartment site. With years of expertise and experience, our team of skilled engineers were able to establish a closed multi-gigabit mmWave Point-to-Point network with strong, uninterrupted signal.

There were many elements to consider, including ensuring that all the direct smart systems across the entire site were connected within a series of closed networks and able to ‘talk’ to each other. This meant careful consideration has to be given to the position of the Wi-Fi points, which offer high speeds up to 20Gbps and can link together over 30km.
