No signal? We hear you... Bewley Homes finds the solution to poor mobile coverage on their sites

Challenge

Sales offices are often made from materials such as metal, which can result in poor mobile coverage and employees having to step outside – whatever the weather – to make a phone call. This was the case at Bewley Homes’ Wilton Park development in Beaconsfield.

Solution

After discussions around the ongoing mobile coverage issue Bewley were facing on the Wilton Park site, one of UK Connect’s highly skilled engineers was scheduled to visit to take a full site survey to identify the best mobile network and solution to use. Within 10 days, our In-Building Mobile Coverage solution was set up in the Wilton Park construction site office and Bewley’s team instantly experienced enhanced mobile signal coverage inside the cabin – and much-improved morale.

In partnership with Cel-Fi, UK Connect’s In-Building Mobile Coverage solution provides reliable connectivity via robust 3G, 4G and 5G networks, allowing the team to speak freely without having to worry about stepping outside to get signal. The Cel-Fi GO hardware provides industry-leading signal gain in building spaces that may disrupt connections and has a rated output power of 24dBm (uplink) and 16dBm (downlink).
